Onsite V.O.C - Mobile Plant Operator - VOC - Verification of Competency is an assessment that assists employers to meet OHS/WHS requirements and ensure the plant & machinery operator is competent to operate the plant & equipment and perform the required tasks.
The employer has a greater importance, due diligence and obligation to ensure the individual has “Current Competency” as stated in the OHS/WHS harmonization laws, effective January 2012.
Assessing the individual with a “Verification of Competency V.O.C” enables businesses to confirm that the employee is currently competent in their skill sets using the plant & equipment or task. Also a verification of competency V.O.C is commonly used in most industries for pre-employment checks, contractual arrangements and site requirements.
